Baru Island, or Isla Barú, was once a peninsula before the Dique Channel cut it off, making it an island. It sits in a heavenly corner of Colombia, just 25 minutes from Cartagena. The crystal clear waters off the island’s beaches of Punta Iguana, Puerto Naito, Playita Cholon and Playita de los Muertos are the perfect place to go scuba diving, whether you’re a beginner or experienced diver.

This Baru Island Scuba Diving Tour Day Tour will submerge you, with your dive instructor, up to 12 metres underwater. Here you will discover the wealth of marine wildlife that inhabits the reefs of the Caribbean Sea. Enjoy two dives of 40 minutes each. The first dive will explore the ocean and its many species of fish and other sea life. The second will take you diving in the Jardín de las Medusas, an underwater theme park where you can dive amongst sculptures and sunken ships.

Before your dive, either the day before or during the boat ride to the island, the expert dive instructors will give you the information and instructions for the dive. With this information, you will be ready for an unforgettable day of diving off Baru Island, an experience you will remember all your life! Book now and come discover the incredible undersea life of the Colombian Caribbean.

  • A meeting point will be assigned to you for the transfer to Baru Island.
  • Your oxygen tank will be changed for the second dive.
  • To perform this activity, you must be over 10 years old and certify that you are in good health.
