Bogotá has so many tourist attractions and places to discover. Do you dare to visit it by bike a bike?

This bike tour through the center of Bogotá starts in one of the emblematic places of the capital: the Plaza de los Periodistas. From here you will pedal to one of the most important corners of the country where the Bank of the Republic and the church of San Agustín are located. There you will be given a brief explanation of the 3 powers that are concentrated in this place and its importance in the history of Colombia.

You will continue pedaling until you reach the Plaza de Bolívar where you will find the Nariño Palace, the Mayor of Bogotá, the Palace of Justice and the Catedral Primada. There you will have the opportunity to listen to the different important stories about the places that surround the square. Then, you will have some time to park the bike and walk around the place.

You will carry on the tour to the Plaza de Mercado Las Nieves, where you will make a small fruit tasting. You will taste the famous lulo, passion fruit, zapote, and granadilla, among other typical fruits and some types of local avocados.

Afterwards, you will discover the tejo game. The tejo is an autochthonous sport from Colombia that consists of throwing a metallic disk in a clay court of 18 meters in length, to explode the "mechas". Here you will receive an explanation of this game and later, if you dare to, you will practice it and have a small tejo competition. You will also try one of the most recognized Colombian beers to cool off before continuing the tour.

Next, you will continue rolling through the neighborhood of Teusaquillo until you reach the famous street 26 where you will observe a wide variety of artistic graffiti made with social conscience or political overtones. This is one of the largest urban art corridors in the country.

You will have time to take many photos and continue with this journey until you reach the final stop, a coffee factory where you will learn the step by step coffee production process and discover some secrets of the Colombian coffee. Upon leaving the factory, a small cafeteria awaits you. There you can buy a delicious coffee and accompany it with an almojábana, pan de yuca or a cheesecake.
