Climb aboard a steam train dating back to the 19th century for an adventure through time, and journey to the historic town of Zipaquirá.

Your tour begins with a transfer from your accommodation in the city to the old train station. From there, you will travel across the flatlands of the surrounding savannah on a route that once worked as a commercial link between the salt mines and the Colombian capital.

A shuttle bus will take you to the traditional village of Cajicá, and here you will have the opportunity to grab some lunch (at an additional cost) and wander through the beautiful old streets, before boarding the train back to Bogotá. At the station, our driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
